Second City Lacrosse Club was founded in August 2020 with the mission of creating a competitive environment with a positive team culture for lacrosse players in Illinois. The club was established during the COVID-19 pandemic when the founders reflected on the state of lacrosse in Illinois and decided to create a program based on three pillars: elite player development and culture, dedicated coaching staff and high-level competition, and support for community and high school programs to grow the sport in Illinois.
