About the team
Badger Prime Lacrosse is Wisconsin’s premier lacrosse program, dedicated to helping players become better athletes regardless of their current skill level or future aspirations. The club’s mission is to provide top-notch coaching, ample practice repetitions, and valuable game experience through comprehensive year-round programs. Badger Prime takes pride in its Wisconsin roots, which is reflected in their uniforms that showcase the rich symbols and heritage of the state.
The club offers a wide range of programs to cater to different age groups and skill levels. For youth players (grades 3-8), they provide tournament teams that focus on fundamentals and proper technique, mainly participating in local tournaments. High school teams (grades 9-12) are geared towards preparing players for the next level, whether it’s joining a varsity team or pursuing college lacrosse. Badger Prime also offers practice teams during the summer for youth players who cannot commit to the tournament schedule or wish to improve their skills.
In addition to traditional lacrosse, Badger Prime embraces innovative training methods and game formats. They offer a High Intensity Lacrosse Training (HILT) program in December and August, combining agility with lacrosse training to focus on the small details that separate good players from great ones. The club also participates in Sixes, a fast-paced version of lacrosse played with six players on each team, which will be featured in the 2024 Olympic Games. Furthermore, through their association with Jr. Muskies Box Lacrosse, they provide USBOXLA lacrosse opportunities, allowing players to develop their skills in an indoor, enclosed field setting similar to hockey.
