About the team

It is not clear if this is an active club as there are no updates for recent seasons.

The Minnesota Yeti Lacrosse is a girls’ traveling lacrosse squad that aims to provide young female athletes with opportunities to enhance their skills in a fun, fast-paced, and focused environment. The club’s primary goal is to complement community programs by offering additional training and competitive experiences. They achieve this by practicing together over the summer and fall seasons and participating in both local and regional tournaments.

The club is staffed by experienced US Lacrosse certified coaches who have worked with players across various grade levels, from 3rd grade to high school, in multiple formats and programs. This ensures that the players receive high-quality instruction and guidance throughout their time with the Yeti. The team practices at Northdale Middle School in Coon Rapids, typically twice a week, including one weeknight and Sunday late afternoon or early evening.

Minnesota Yeti Lacrosse is committed to providing a comprehensive lacrosse experience for its players. They participate in several tournaments throughout the year, including the STX Minnesota Shootout in Stillwater, the Indian Prairie Showdown in Naperville, IL, and fall tournaments such as the Land of 10,000 Lax Girls 7v7 in Eden Prairie and the Boundary Waters Classic in Blaine. This diverse tournament schedule allows players to test their skills against various competitors and gain valuable game experience. The club also fosters a sense of community among its members, maintaining a Facebook group for Yeti families to interact and stay connected throughout the season.
